What Types of Claim Reports Are Available Through Office Ally?

Office Ally provides a variety of reports that help you stay informed about the status of the files and claims you've submitted. This article explains the different types of reports you can expect to receive.

Types of Claim Reports Available:

  1. File Summary:
    • What it is:
After submitting a file to Office Ally, whether through your software, Service Center, or Practice Mate, you will receive a confirmation email. This report, called a File Summary, confirms that the file has been successfully received by Office Ally and provides a detailed summary for each payer included in the submission. It will indicate whether claims were accepted for processing and forwarded to the appropriate payer, or rejected for correction and placed in the Manage Claims section under Correctable Claims.
    • How it helps:
This ensures you know that your file was successfully submitted and is in process.
  2. EDI Status Report:
    • What it is:
This report is generated after the payer has processed your submitted claims. It provides the status of your claims, whether they have been accepted or rejected by the payer.
    • How it helps:
It allows you to quickly see the outcome of each claim you’ve submitted from the payer.
  3. ERA Status Report:
    • What it is:
This report comes back to you after an Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) file has been processed.
    • How it helps:
This gives you a clear update on the status of payments related to your claims.

How to Access Your Reports:

  1. Through Office Ally Portal:
    • Access Claim Reports: You can log into Service Center to access and manage your claim reports.
    • Simply click on the Reports section. Select Claim Reports from the drop-down.

    • View Remittance Reports: The Manage Remits section in Service Center will allow you to view and track ERA-related reports. To get there, click Remits on the left-hand side of your screen and select Manage Remits from the drop-down menu.
    • These reports are related to the ERA file sent back to you and include remittance information.
