How to Submit Claims through Service Center

Submitting claims through Office Ally’s Service Center is quick and flexible—whether you're uploading a file or creating a new claim from scratch. Follow the steps below to get started.

Choose a Submission Method:

You have two ways to submit a claim:

  • Upload a Claim File created in another system
  • Create a New Claim using Service Center’s built-in forms

Upload a Claim File:

  1. In Service Center, on the Claims > Submit Claims screen, select the claim type (Professional, Institutional, or Dental) in the box that says: Drop your claim files or click to browse
  1. Click the blue file icon, which will open a file explorer window to your computer
  1. Locate and select the claim file you want to upload, then click Open
  1. You’ll receive a green confirmation message once your file is successfully submitted.

If there are any issues with your file, you’ll receive a red error notification explaining why your file(s) could not be uploaded.  In that scenario, correct the issue(s) and attempt your upload again.

Create a new Claim in Service Center:

  1. In Service Center, on the Claims > Submit Claims screen, hover over the claim type you want to create, there are three options:
    • Create Professional CMS-1500
    • Create Institutional UB-04
    • Create Dental ADA
  1. Choose the option you wish to utilize:
    • Create Blank Form to go straight to a blank claim form
    • Start with Stored Data to start by selecting previously saved Payer, Provider, Patient, Facility or Template information before being taken to the claim form
    • Select a Draft Claim to select a draft claim you previously saved and continue completing the claim form
  1. Complete all required fields on the claim form
  1. Click the green Submit button to submit your claim
    • If there are any errors on the claim you will see a red notification at the top of the claim form and the fields with issues will be highlighted in red within the form.  Resolve those errors then click Submit again to submit your claim.

Tip: To save time, we recommend entering your stored information—including Payers, Providers, Patients, Facilities and even Templates—so you can use the Stored Data option for faster, more efficient claim creation.
