How to Correct Rejected Claims in Practice Mate

Rejected claims submitted in Practice Mate can be fixed and resubmitted through the Repairable Claims screen. Follow the steps below to quickly locate and resubmit repairable claims.

Steps to Correct and Resubmit a Claim in Practice Mate:

  1. In Practice Mate navigate to Claims/Billing > Repairable Claims tab or simply click the blue Repairable Claims link in the very top right corner.  
  1. In the calendar, locate pink dates, which indicate there are claims that needing to be repaired on that date. Yellow indicates the currently selected date.  
  1. Click a pink date to view a list of repairable claims for that day.
  1. Click the pencil icon in the Correct column to open a repairable claim.
  1. Review the rejection reason shown at the top of the claim
  1. Make any necessary updates based on the rejection details
  1. Click Update on the bottom of the page to resubmit.  

Optional: For claims you don’t plan to correct and want to remove from the Repairable Claims list, check the box in the Select column and click the Remove Claims button in the upper right corner.
