Q: Is this the training required for non-controlled substance prescribing or for controlled medications?
A: This training meets the requirement for both non-controlled and EPCS registration.
Q: What else do I have to do to activate OA-Rx?
A: Being trained is only one of the steps in the registration process. You can navigate to Manage Office > ePrescribing to view instructions on how to start or complete your OA-Rx registration. Prescribing medication requires identity proofing for everyone except Medical Assistant and Nurse roles, neither of which can transmit medications through their usernames.
Q: I have already completed this training on another account, do I need to complete it again in my new one?
A: No, if you have already completed training you can reach our Support team for activation when all other OA-Rx registration steps have been completed to be approved. You will be asked to provide your previous Office Ally username, and will have to re-complete ID proofing in your new account.
Q: I have issues prescribing medications in my activated account. Will this training resolve them?
