Printing Visit Statements in Practice Mate

Patient Visit Statements are documents that summarize key details from a patient’s visit. They are often used in place of Superbills to outline the diagnosis, charges, remaining balance, and other relevant information for a specific encounter. Providing patients with printed visit statements enhances communication, promotes transparency, and can help expedite payment or insurance reimbursement. Follow the steps below to print a Visit Statement for a specific patient visit.

Steps to Print Visit Statements in Practice Mate:

Navigate to the Patient Visits Tab

• Log in to Practice Mate.

• Click the Patient Visits tab at the top of the screen.

Search for the Desired Patient

• Use the search bar to locate the patient by name or other identifying information.

• Once found, locate the visit you want to print a statement for.

Select the Visit

• Check the box on the left side of the Visit ID for the appropriate visit.

Print the Visit Statement

• Hover your mouse over Select Actions.

• From the dropdown menu, choose the last option: Print Visit Statements.
