The Patient Account Ledger report in Practice Mate allows you to view a detailed list of patient charges and payments, helping you track balances and account activity efficiently. Follow the steps below to access and use this report.
Steps to Access the Patient Account Ledger
- Navigate to the Accounting Tab
- From the top menu, click on the Accounting tab.
- Open the Reports Section
- Hover over the Reports option.
- Select Patient Account Ledger from the drop-down menu.
Understanding the Report Page
- At the top of the page, you’ll see a notice indicating that report data is refreshed hourly.
- The page also displays the last updated date and time for the report.
Steps to Run the Patient Account Ledger Report
- Select Transaction Date Criteria
- Use the Transaction Date drop-down to choose how you want to filter results:
- Choose a Patient
- Locate the Patient ID field.
- Click the ellipses (...) button to select a patient from your patient list.
- Select Sorting Preference
- Use the Sort By drop-down to organize the report by:
- Run the Report
- Click Go to generate the Patient Account Ledger report.
