How to Import Data from Service Center

If you previously entered information in Office Ally’s Service Center, you can import that data into Practice Mate or EHR 24/7. Supported data includes Patients, Insurances, Billing Providers, Rendering Providers, and Referring Providers. Below, we’ll walk through how to import this information using the Import Data Wizard.

Before We Begin

Before importing data, ensure the following:

  • The information has already been added and saved in Service Center Stored Info.
  • You are logged in using an Administrator account.

Steps to Import Data from Service Center

  1. Navigate to the Import Data Wizard
  • Log in to your Administrator account in either EHR 24/7 or Practice Mate.  
  • Go to the Manage Office tab.
  • Click Import Data Wizard.
  1. Select the Data Source
  • On the Import Data Wizard page, confirm the Data Source is set to
    Office Ally Stored Info (HCFA).
  • Click Next.
  1. Enter Secondary Claim Details
  • Under Select a Table, choose one of the following categories:
  • Billing Providers
  • Providers
  • Facilities
  • Payers
  • Patients
  • Items from the selected category will appear on the right side of the screen.
  1. Choose Items to Import
  • Select individual records by checking the box next to each item, or
  • Use Select All / Unselect All to quickly manage your selection.
  • Click Next to import the selected items.
  1. Import Additional Tables (Optional)
  • To import data from another category, click on Import Another Table and repeat the steps above.
  • When finished, click Finish to complete the process.

This will import the selected data from Service Center into Practice Mate or EHR 24/7 for use moving forward.
