Adding a Superbill in Practice Mate

Superbills are customizable lists of Diagnosis and/or CPT Codes that can be printed, downloaded, or used in workflows in both Practice Mate and EHR 24/7.  Superbills are not required as both CPT Codes and Dx Codes have their individual lists but can be useful in certain situations.

If you are looking for a document that lists Dx, CPT Codes, and other information pertaining to a specific visit with a patient, a Visit Statement may be a faster and easier alternative.

If you need to add a new superbill in Practice Mate, you can do so through the Manage Office tab:

Steps to Add a Superbill:

  1. Log in to Practice Mate.
  1. Navigate to Manage Office.
  1. Under List Maintenance, click Superbills.
  1. Select Add New.
  1. Enter a Superbill Name (required field marked with a red asterisk *).
  1. Change the Diagnosis Type to ICD-10.
  1. Click Update to save.

Note: You also have the option to input Page Header Information for the top/center, left, and right of the superbill.

After they are created, you can access your Superbills through Manage Office, Patient Check-In, and Edit Visit in Practice Mate.
