How to Generate an EHI Export in EHR 24/7

If you need to export Electronic Health Information (EHI) in compliance with the ONC Cures Act, follow the steps below. Office Ally allows EHI exports for a single patient on demand or for a full patient population.

Before We Begin

Before starting an EHI export, make sure you are logged into EHR 24/7 with an account that has administrative rights. EHI (Electronic Health Information) refers to electronic protected health information, which patients are entitled to request under the HIPAA Privacy Rule.

  • Log into EHR 24/7.
  • Click on the Document Center tab.
  • Hover over Batches in the main menu.
  • Select EHI Export from the drop-down menu.
