What is this Measure?

This measure reports the percentage of children aged 6 months to 20 years who had a dental visit within the reporting period and were found to have tooth decay or cavities.

Populating the Denominator:

Children aged 6 through 9 years who had a dental visit during the measurement period.

Step 1: Open a Chart

Step 2: Open a Progress Note for the Patient for a billable office visit

Step 3: Enter procedure code representing qualified encounter in the procedure section
