Rejection: Identification Code should not be used in Service Facility Location Name. Element NM109 is used. It is not expected to be used when it has the same value as element NM109 in loop 2010AA. Segment NM1 is defined in the guideline at position 2500.
What happened: Payer does not want the NPI in box 32a when it is the same as 33a (see attached picture below).
Resolution: The easy fix is to remove NPI from 32a. If you get this error, please contact our customer service so a?ticket can be created to have our programmers not send the facility when it is the same as the billing.
