This article explains how a Security Administrator can manage a child user under the same account, including how to update the user’s email address and reset the user’s password.
Before You Start
Make sure you are logged in using the Security Administrator credentials for the account.
Access the User List
- Open Classic Service Center (legacy interface).
- Select Manage Users to view the list of users on the account.
Update the Child User’s Email Address
- In the user list, locate the child user.
- Click the Edit (pencil) icon to the right of the child user’s Login Name.
- Under Account Holder Info, update the Email field.
- Click Next.
- Continue clicking Next until you reach the update options.
- Select Update User.
- Click Finish to save the changes.
Result: A confirmation message will appear indicating the update was successful.
Reset the Child User’s Password
- From the same Manage Users list, locate the child user.
- Under Reset Sec. Credentials, click the Information (circle “i”) icon on the far right.
- Click OK when prompted to confirm.
Result: A confirmation message will indicate the security credentials were reset successfully, and an email will be sent to the child user to set up a new password.
