Rejection: E1018 - Other Payer Primary Identifier must be 4 Chars. or less

What happened: The carrier code for the primary payer was not sent

Resolution: Need to send the carrier code for the primary payer in the 'Secondary Claim Info' section at the bottom of the claim form where the payer ID is normally put.  For a list of carrier codes, click HERE.
